"My boyfriend had the previous rival backpack for about 10 years. It was falling apart but he refused to use anything other than it. I finally bought him a replacement and he was thrilled when he opened the box! The zippers don’t seem quite as heavy duty as the old ones, and the material itself feels much different, but hopefully it’s new and improved. Hoping this one will last just as long as the old one did."

"I bought this bag "on sale" through Amazon for about $70 back in late 2017. It's gotta be among the best purchases I've ever made, be it under or over $100, because it's mid-2021 and it's rockin' with me like a champ! I pack the smaller items of my mobile music equipment in here mainly - 13" Macbook, Apollo Twin interface, keyboard controller, dynamic mic, and all the cables I need - as well as a few overnight trips outta town. It's awesome. If I only had ONE knock about it, though it really hasn't bothered me much, is the bottom of this isn't very well padded, and the zippers need a lil love from time to time. But aside from that, it handles everything I put it through! BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!!"

"I love this normally on trips I would have laptop bag and files. my suit case then a second lap top bag for my cooling fan and power cord extension cord and external hdd. this bag fits it all and then some. can't locate the built in headphone port but since everything else about this bag is so amazing I could care less about headphone port"
