"PROS: Can hold a surprising amount for its size Material is fairly durable (and recycled!) Nice color and design CONS: Tucked in zippers harder to open Hard to see inside either pocket Straps could be more comfortable I originally bought this because I was looking for a small backpack to hold a water bottle, maybe 1 notebook/folder, and a handful of small objects (i.e. keys, hand sanitizer). While I like the slim profile of this bag, it's slightly too rounded to fit a folder—the top corners have to be curled in order to fit, which was a little disappointing since the backpack is otherwise the perfect size for holding a single folder/notebook. I was able to fit a 22 oz. water bottle and a tumbler of the same size side-by-side in addition to a thick book, a pair of over-the-head headphones, a wallet, and other small items. Space wasn't an issue, but it was definitely hard to see inside the main compartment, partly because of the dark fabric and partly because the front panel doesn't come out very far when unzipped. This would be less of an issue if there wasn't a "hooded" structure at the top obstructing the view of the inside. The smaller pocket is similarly inconvenient; the zipper is so tucked in that the opening to reach into it ends up being quite small, and because it's so flat, it's hard to see inside, especially when there's more than one item inside. The zippers are also a little frustrating to use because they're so tucked in. There's a key clip inside the main compartment that I find a little awkwardly placed. When my keys are attached, they sit at the bottom of the bag, where it feels like they'll be tossed around and potentially scratch the other items in my bag. The backpack serves its purpose and is pretty good for the price (I bought this with a 20% off coupon), but the small inconveniences of using it leave something to be desired. I don't regret the purchase (I'm always looking for eco-friendly/recycled products), but next time I will probably look for other options."
